The concept of the shopping complex includes a supermarket «Lenta», a baby store, a shopping gallery, restaurants area, a cafe, foodcourt area, children’s entertainment center and parking for 1300 lots.

Clancy Engineering was appointed to provide structural and MEP design in part of Preproject documentation.

Clancy Engineering scope of works concerning design of shopping centers:

  • Preparation of Sketch № 2 (site plan with loads calculation);
  • Calculation of the most appropriate type of foundations based on the analysis of the available geological conditions;
  • Preliminary calculation of demands of the shopping centre in energy sources;
  • Preparation of preliminary specifications of engineering equipment, products and materials to define the construction budget.

Structural solutions

Our company performed the analysis of foundation types on the basis of the received results of geological investigations. Our engineers also executed calculation of the load-bearing capacity depending on various loads and geological conditions

Concrete and reinforcement consumption was estimated for foundations for all areas of the complex.

MEP networks

Our MEP team performed principal calculations of the shopping centre demands in energy sources — electricity, water, sewage, heating energy, cold.

The basis for the calculations was the architectural concept from «Blank Architects».

Calculations were performed according to the current RF norms and based on experimental data of the implemented projects of similar functional use.

Specifications for the principal equipment and materials were prepared with level of accuracy corresponding to that of Tender documentation in order to take into account all the expenses on installation of MEP systems of the complex.
