Car Parking Reconstruction for Fifth Avenue Mall • Moscow

CLANCY ENGINEERING performed design works for overhaul repair of the underground parking belonging to the shopping complex «Fifth Avenue».

CLANCY ENGINEERING reviewed the condition of the existing structures, elaborated repairs solutions for the floor covering of the underground parking, executed instrumental investigation of the existing structures and provided solutions for their strengthening.

The works were executed with particular focus on provision of water insulation on all levels of the underground parking, execution of the instrumental investigation of the existing structures and selection of the best suitable strengthening option.

CLANCY ENGINEERING scope of works included the following:

• Visual inspection and preliminary evaluation of the load bearing structures condition;
• Analysis of condition of water insulation of the 1 level floor slab;
• Checking calculations for the 1 level floor slab;
• Instrumental inspection of the load bearing structures of the 1 level floor slab and definition of concrete structural properties and reinforcement characteristics;
• Execution of secondary calculations upon the results of instrumental inspection;
• Elaboration of solution for repair works of floor cover on level 1 and 2;
• Selection of the best suitable strengthening option for the load bearing structures on level 1;
• Construction and installation works control.
